This Art Deco–style bedroom clearly expresses the design vision of Giorgio Piotto, specialized in high-end bespoke furniture. The project reinterprets the Art Deco language through a contemporary lens, enhancing bold volumes, refined surfaces, and highly crafted decorative details to shape an elegant, enveloping, and strongly distinctive sleeping area.
The entire composition is conceived to convey a sense of balance between comfort and representational value, where every element contributes to defining a sophisticated environment designed for a luxury private residence.
The upholstered Art Deco bed as the focal element of the composition
The undisputed centerpiece of the bedroom is the bespoke Art Deco–style upholstered bed, defined by a tall, dramatic headboard. The vertical lines of the headboard visually enhance the proportions of the space, while the finely crafted central decorative insert, finished in gold leaf, recalls the most refined aesthetic codes of classic Art Deco.
The textile upholstery, selected for its quality and tactile richness, is completed by meticulous tailoring that enhances both comfort and visual depth. The bed is not merely a functional element; it becomes the architectural focal point of the entire project.
Bedside tables and coordinated furniture: a dialogue between wood and decorative finishes
Custom-made bedside tables flank the bed, crafted from fine wood and enhanced with decorative frames finished in gold leaf. Glossy surfaces and hand-worked moldings reflect the light, helping to create a sophisticated and luminous atmosphere.
The balance between the solidity of the wood and the refinement of the finishes is one of the defining features of the project, expressing Italian craftsmanship reinterpreted through a Deco lens.
